DECALB DISTRICT, Georgia – Police have arrested a suspect after six people were shot dead, killing three, on Mother’s Day at the Brannon Hill condominium in Decalb, officials said.
Another shooter is still fleeing.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday, police received calls from a man shot at Block 6500 on Old Hampton Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found that five people had been shot, police said.
Ambulances transported two to local hospitals in critical condition.

Three died on the spot.
Police said a sixth man arrived at a local hospital in critical condition shortly afterwards.
None of the victims have been identified.
Investigators said Monday that the suspect had been arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with one count of murder and one count of assault.
Officials said warrants had been issued for another person who had not been detained. This person will be charged with three counts of murder.
Police did not give a motive for the shooting and did not say what caused the clash.
DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond issued a statement Monday morning saying:
“Decalb County Chief Executive Michael Thurmond has ordered Police Chief Mirta Ramos to allocate all necessary resources to investigate the deadly shooting at the Brannon Hill condominium on May 8 to bring those responsible to justice.
