One woman was killed and two were injured in a collision between several vehicles just outside Okotox on Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP said officers arrived at the scene, approximately four kilometers west of Ocotox on Highway 7, just before 1 p.m.
One person died on the spot and two people were taken to Foothills Hospital in a “severe but stable condition”, EMS confirmed.

According to Alberta 511, a section of Highway 7 was closed between 32 Street West and 48 Street West for several hours in the afternoon.
