A 16-year-old boy was stabbed after a fight in South London.
Sofia police found the boy after being called to Angus Street in Louisham shortly after 4pm on Wednesday.
The teenager received stab wounds and died on the spot despite the efforts of paramedics.
Police say the boy’s death is the fourth teenage murder in London this year.
Officials said the boy’s family had been notified of his death and no arrests had been made.
Police appealed to witnesses or anyone with information to contact them, and a Section 60 order granting additional powers to stop and search police was allowed for the entire Louisham district.
A record number of teenagers suffered violent deaths in London last year, with 30 homicides reported by metropolitan police, surpassing the previous peak of 29 in 2008.
