One of Demling’s surprising election for the Kentucky Derby in 2022: He fades Epicenter, saying that one of the leading favorites barely manages to break even the top three. Trained by Steve Asmussen, Epicenter will have experience on its side after participating in six races in two and three years. However, he is not dominant and it will be difficult to find someone who has had worse luck in the Kentucky Derby than Asmussen.
