We will take more than that, please. The 2022 NBA Playoffs kicked off, and Game 1 of the first-round playoff series between the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics was no exception. The 115-114 victory in Boston caused a great deal of excitement thanks in large part to the heroism of Jason Tatum and Kyrie Irving.
Tatum (31 points) confirmed the victory for the Celtics when he caught a pass from Marcus Smart, turned and fell into the laying just before time ran out. The victory marks Tatum’s fourth consecutive game with 30 points in the playoffs from last postseason. The 24-year-old equaled Larry Bird in 1987 for the longest-running series in Celtics history.

On the Nets side of the equation, Irving made a show. He scored 39 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter. Kevin Durant added 23 points but shot just 9 of 24 as the Boston defense put pressure, challenging the Brooklyn star.
The match – which was tied with less than two minutes to go – told the league.

And there is a difference in the Celtics team. Last year, Marcus Smart would make this shot. His name made him buy and be the smart Marcus everyone loved from Ok State. BEAUTIFUL! I look like a real PG again! That made it special!
