Kevin Durant broke his silence with a cryptic message on Twitter on Saturday, just days after it was speculated that the NBA star requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.

“Those who were locked in that gym with me know what it’s like, they know what I’m all about,” Durant wrote. “If you haven’t been there with me, ask around.”

Durant got up center of attention in NBA free agency on Thursday, when he reportedly requested a trade from the Nets less than a year after signing a contract extension with the team.

“Do you really want a deal from the Nets? If so, why? It was Kyrie [Irving] deal breaker for you? If you want a deal, do you expect to choose your destination?” Lundberg asked.

But Durant didn’t take the bait.

“Keep dreaming of Robin Imao,” Durant replied.
