A SERIOUS crash has closed a busy road in Hampshire.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the crash on Eastern Road, Portsmouth, to come forward.
The highway was closed in both directions but has since reopened.

A police tweet read: “Officers have closed East Road, Portsmouth in both directions this afternoon due to a serious five car RTC at midday.
“We are appealing for any witnesses to contact 101 quoting 44220264854. The road has now reopened, thank you for your patience while we dealt with this incident.”
