Winnipeg police are investigating the shooting death of a man at a St. Norbert home early Sunday.
Police said they were called to a two-story home in the 200 block of Houde Drive around 2:55 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
They ruled the man’s death a homicide, said an on-duty inspector. There is no other information about the victim.
The inspector could not comment on any arrests made or information about suspects, but said police do not believe the killing was a random act.
Detectives remained at the scene until Sunday afternoon. Bullet holes were visible in the front window of the house.
More information is expected Monday, police said.
