Alberta RCMP are investigating a serious incident in Sundre that occurred at a local business early Monday morning.
An RCMP spokesperson says there are few details that can be released at this time, but confirmed the incident happened shortly after midnight.
Although RCMP have not confirmed where the incident happened, the McDonald’s in Sundre had a sign in the window indicating it was closed and the entrance was cordoned off with crime scene tape.
The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit was called in to investigate – the unit responsible for investigating murders, serious crimes, child abuse and multi-jurisdictional crimes.
The town of Sundre is located about 100 kilometers north of Calgary.
