A boy has died after falling from the seventh floor of a high-rise in Leeds.
The one-year-old fell from a window of the flat in Savile Green, Burmantofts.
Emergency services were called just after 1pm on Saturday.
The boy was taken to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead a little later.
West Yorkshire Police are investigating. A police statement said: “At 1.25pm on Saturday 2nd July, police were called to an ambulance which was in Savile Green in Leeds where a child had fallen from a flat window.

“The one-year-old boy was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later.
“The incident is being treated as a sudden unexpected childhood death and we ask that people consider the family and respect their privacy at what is obviously a very difficult time for them.”
An air ambulance was called to the tower.
Leeds City Council said it was assisting with inquiries. A spokesman said: “We are working closely with our partners at West Yorkshire Police to establish the full circumstances surrounding this very tragic event.” We are supporting the family with urgent relocation to another council property and ask that people respect their privacy in what is a very difficult time for them.”
Leeds MP Hilary Benn said on Twitter: “So sad and awful. All our thoughts are with those grieving the terrible loss of such a young life.”
Local councilor Asghar Khan said in a statement: “We were saddened to hear of the sad and tragic death of a baby in our Burmantofts community, our thoughts are with the family at this very sad time.”
