Ipswich: Serious assault near B&M at Copdock Interchange

A man has been left with lacerations after being punched and slashed in a serious attack in Ipswich.

The attack took place at around 10.50am on Friday, June 24, in the car park on the B&M side of the Copdock interchange.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: “A man aged in his 30s was grabbed by four men and punched and slashed to the head, leaving two lacerations.

“All the men were wearing blue surgical masks.

“The victim reported seeing what he described as an elderly man and woman in a white car who may have witnessed the incident.

“Officers are keen to speak to this couple and anyone else who may have witnessed the incident or seen any suspicious behavior around the time.”
