21 last chance early bird deals you can still shop before the big day

This story is part of Amazon Prime Day, CNET’s guide to everything you need to know and how to find the best deals.

Although Prime Day doesn’t officially start until Tuesday, July 12, the deals are already in full swing. Amazon likes to offer subscribers plenty of early deals before the big day, and this year is no exception. You’ll find tons of great deals on tons of handy home gadgets and appliances right now, but you might want to consider getting your order in sooner rather than later if you see something you like. Many of these deals won’t stick around until the end of Prime Day.

We’ve tracked down Prime Day deals that are less likely to stick around for the main event, so you can take advantage of the deals before the rest of the world comes in to make their purchases.

An apple

Just a few days before Prime Day, you can grab a pair of Apple AirPods Pro from Amazon for just $174. These great headphones feature active noise cancellation, spatial audio and a safety-focused transparency mode, as well as up to 4.5 hours of listening time on a single charge.

LG

The LG C1 55-inch OLED TV is a great TV that’s at its best price before Prime Day. For just $1,097 (down from $1,500), you get an OLED TV that features HDMI 2.1, 4K, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Skullcandy

Skullcandy headphones are known for looking sleek at a low price, but this deal brings the Sesh Evo true wireless headphones back to the lowest price we’ve seen them in a long time.

Smart sheep

If you’re looking for a way to save some money, eliminating the need to buy dryer sheets every month is a pretty great way. These wool dryer balls will last a very long time, especially since it’s a pack of six and you really only need two in your dryer to remove static from your laundry, and right now it’s a lot cheaper than usual to pick them up at home .

David Carnoy/CNET

This compact Bluetooth speaker was named one of our favorites of 2021. It’s both dust and water resistant with IP67 certification and is rated for 16 hours of battery life at moderate volume levels. The speaker sounds bigger than you’d think for its small size, with decent bass power and comes in five great color options.

Cash register

While the more expensive 2K video version of Kasa’s security camera is great for outdoor surveillance, the 1080p version on sale today is more than enough of a camera to act as a cheap pet monitor while you’re gone. Sound recognition is perfect for notifying you if your dog starts barking, and the app will even let you do things like turn on the lights in your house when sound or motion is detected. For $30 you’d be hard pressed to find a better pet camera, just be sure to add the coupon on the page to your order before you pay.

UCOMX

Apple fans know what it’s like to struggle when trying to charge everything. You have your AirPods, your Apple Watch and of course your iPhone that need power every night and most 3-in-1 solutions are expensive. The 3-in-1 Wireless Charger from UCOMX is usually cheaper, but it’s on an even bigger discount right now.

Instant sweat

Instant Pot made its name with pressure cookers, but the Vortex line of air fryers is on quite a discount this week. The 5.7 QT capacity means it can handle smaller family meals in one cooking session without generating as much heat as a typical oven, and the simple controls are easy enough for anyone to use. It’s not the cheapest air fryer you can buy, but it’s the lowest price we’ve seen for this air fryer to date, and this brand carries a lot more weight than the competition.
