One person has been airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a crash at a roundabout in Cambridge.
Waterloo Regional Police Sergeant Byron Harding said it happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the roundabout at Clyde Road and Franklin Boulevard.
Byron said a truck and pickup truck were traveling northbound when traffic slowed for the roundabout.
The pickup did not slow down and crashed into the back of the transport.
The man driving the pickup truck was taken by ambulance to an out-of-town hospital.
Byron said he is still being evaluated, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
The truck driver was uninjured.
Police are investigating distracted driving or speeding as possible factors in the crash, but the cause is unknown at this time.
As of 6:30 p.m., Franklin Boulevard was closed between Savage Drive and Clyde Road. Byron said the closure would likely be in effect until 8 p.m
