The NHS is ‘dying’ from Covid-19, influential health voices warned yesterday.
Their intervention came as scientists said separately that the coronavirus may never settle into a seasonal pattern.
In a rare joint editorial entitled ‘The NHS doesn’t live with Covid, it dies by it’, the editors of British Medical Journal (BMJ) and Journal of the Health Servicel (HSJ) warned that never in the last 50 years has so much of the NHS come so close to collapse.
