President Joe Biden was criticized on Twitter Monday for appearing to admit he didn’t know what was in the Deflation Act, a law his administration championed.
“What we’re doing today, what we went through yesterday, helping take care of everything from health care to God knows what else,” Biden said during a speech in Kentucky after touring the state’s flood damage.
The legislation, which passed the Senate on Sunday on a party-line vote with Vice President Kamala Harris, would raise taxes for nearly all Americans, add 87,000 IRS agents and actually increase inflation in the early years, according to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Budget Model.

Biden was criticized on Twitter for his remarks.
“‘God knows what else’ means everything the far left wanted in the bill and all the extra hogwash Manchin and Sinema needed to get to Yes,” tweeted Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, RN.Y.
“This is how Joe Biden describes printing $$$, worsening inflation, the monstrous bill the Democrats passed yesterday…He doesn’t even know what’s in the bill,” tweeted former congressional candidate Robbie Starbuck.

“Coming to a midterm near you,” tweeted Fox News contributor Joe Concha.

Tommy Piggott, director of rapid response for RNC Research, tweeted, “Looks like even Biden knows his Bidenflation hoax will actually INCREASE inflation.”
“The ‘De-Inflation Act’ will ‘take care of everything like health care and God knows what else’ is Kinsley’s gaffe from @POTUS,” said Pluribus editor Jeryl Beer.
Many Democrats are refusing to pledge their support for a hypothetical Biden re-election bid, and the Real Clear Politics polling average shows Donald Trump leading Biden by three points.

Polls for Biden remain low, including among Hispanics, only 19 percent of whom approve of his job as president, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll.
