The United States Football League officially kicks off in about two days and the players are ready to go.
The first season will begin when the New Jersey Generals face the Birmingham Stallions on Saturday night at 19:30 ET and can be seen on FOX and NBC. The league’s six other teams – the Houston Gambles, Michigan Panthers, New Orleans Breakers, Philadelphia Stars, Pittsburgh Maullers and Tampa Bay Bandits – are in action on Sunday. The games can be seen on NBC, USA Network and FS1.
Joel Clatt from FOX Sports will be among the team broadcasting for the USFL Games. He previewed the talent pool to take on the field at Fox & Friends with co-host Brian Kilmead.

“It’s actually very high,” Clatt said of the level of talent coming into the league. “I think people will understand when they see these players play, that COVID really confused the transition from college to the NFL. There are a bunch of players who haven’t got a chance in the National Football League, who are good enough to get a chance in the National Football League, and these are the players we’re going to introduce.
“It’s even more than that. The quality of football will certainly be great, but the technology that will attract football fans is out of the charts. The audio we will have, all the communication that is between the coach and the player, we will be able to interview the coaches through their headphones. We will have a drone flying over the terrain. You will be able to watch this sport, which we all love, in a completely different way. We will take you closer to the game than we have ever led you before. “
