Fashion writer Luis Pisano has apologized after tweeting that Rihanna and ASAP Rocky broke up over infidelity.
The social media influencer who uses the pronouns he / she claims that the couple “broke up” after ASAP was “caught cheating” on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muadi.
“Last night I made a foolish decision to tweet the information I received,” Pisano tweeted on April 15. “I will not talk about sources, blame others for the discussion, etc., because at the end of the day I decided to draw this tweet, clicked” Submit “and put it in my name.”
“I would like to formally apologize to all parties involved in my actions and for my reckless tweets,” they said.
On Thursday, April 14, rumors surfaced that Rocky and Rihanna had split after Pisano tweeted: “Rihanna broke up with [ASAP] after she caught him cheating on shoe designer Amina Muadi.
“Amina was responsible for the design of Fenty’s shoes, and Rihanna is often seen with custom-made shoes from her own label,” they said.
The unverified allegations came as a shock on social media as the couple – who are expecting their first child together – began appearing on Twitter as fans reacted to the report. However, Muadi denied rumors of fraud on Friday in a statement posted on her Instagram story.
“I have always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media does not deserve any answer or explanation, especially one that is so vile,” Muadi wrote in the post. “Initially, I assumed that this false gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously.
“That’s why I have to speak, because it’s not just about me, it’s about people I respect and have a lot of respect for,” she continued. “As Rich continues to live his quiet, best-dressed life of pregnancy, I have returned to my business – I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!”
Numerous sources also denied rumors in statements to TMZ and Page Six on Friday.
Earlier this week, Rihanna appeared on the cover of the May 2022 issue of Vogue, where she revealed her relationship with Rocky. The owner of Fenty Beauty, who is currently in his third trimester, said: “I just feel like I can do any part of my life next to him.”
The couple began dating in early 2020 and announced that they are expecting their first child together last January.
