The Toronto Raptors are back in the NBA playoffs after missing out on last season.
Game 1 of the 76ers series will begin on Saturday night in Philadelphia at 18:00 in the first round of the playoffs.
Rapeseed finished their 2021-2022 season with a record of 48-34 – one place behind 76ers 51-31.
Both teams have a history in the playoffs.
In 2001, Vince Carter led the Raptors to the semifinals of the conference against Alan Iverson and the 76ers. The Raptors lost the series in Game 7 despite Carter’s latest attempts to take the lead.
Fast forward 18 years, former Raptor Kawhi Leonard will avenge Toronto in the second post-season match between the two teams in Game 7 of the conference semifinals. Leonard’s game with two points to win the game became known as a “shot” and the Raptors would win their first NBA championship this season.
The two teams will meet in the playoffs for the third time tonight. Here is a list of places you can watch:
‘JURASIC PARK’ IN SCOTIABANK ARENA
After a two-year hiatus over the COVID-19 pandemic, the so-called Jurassic Park back door area has returned home to Scotiabank Arena. The open space has seen thousands of Raptors fans applaud the team during the playoffs of the past as they watch real-time games on the huge screen.
This year’s viewing party is a little different, as fans will have to get free mobile passes to enter Maple Leaf Square. Each guest can receive up to four passes, which are available 24 to 48 hours before each confirmed game. The doors open at 15:30 for game 1.
You can get your passes here, subject to availability.
TRUE SPORT
Real Sports, which is also located in Maple Leaf Square, has become the most popular place to catch a playoff game in Toronto in recent years. There is no shortage of TV screens or food and beverage options in this downtown sports product.

THE RELAXED VOC
A short walk from Scotiabank Arena, you can also catch action from Game 1 in Loose Moose. With a wide selection of draft beer and live music to start after the last bell, there’s something for every Raps fan at this Front Street bar.

DOC ELIS
For a more relaxed atmosphere, head to The Dock Ellis, a classic sports bar in Toronto’s west end of the city. TV screens rise on the walls of this haunt in Little Portugal and guests can play a quick game of billiards or football between the quarters.
FOOD OF THE QUEEN HEAD
If you are at the eastern end and looking for a place to watch the match, look no further than The Queen’s Head Pub. As the name suggests, the dishes in British pubs are the specialty in this product from Leslieville and the game Raps will be on almost every TV that does not play the games of Leafs and Jays.
MCSORELY’S SALOON & GRILL
Raptors fans in downtown Toronto don’t have to travel far to watch Game 1. McSorely’s Saloon & Grill, located on Bayview Avenue, south of Eglinton, boasts full volume and 15 TVs for tonight’s game. The popular Leaside Restaurant also offers beer and specials for each game in the series.
You can also watch the match tonight from the comfort of your own home on TSN1 / 4, TSN.ca, the TSN app and TSN Direct at 18:00 and 15:00 pt.
The Raptors will play Game 2 of the series on Monday in Philadelphia before returning to Toronto for Game 3 on Wednesday, April 20, and Game 4 on Saturday, April 23.
