Two teenage boys are in hospital after being stabbed twice in South Lanarkshire.
The boys, aged 15 and 16, were attacked on Likprivik Road in the Greenhills area of East Kilbride at around 9.30pm on Friday.
They were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but police say their condition is unknown.
Officers follow a “positive line of inquiry” in their investigation of the attack.
A spokesman said: “Officers were called to Lycprivik Road, East Kilbride, to receive reports of stabbing at around 9.30pm on Friday.
“Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Investigations into the incident are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of investigation.”
