Actor Rio del Valle Hackford, who appeared on the Star Wars spin-off show The Mandalorian, has died at the age of 52.
His brother Alex Hackford confirmed that the singer, who also owned the club, died after an illness on Thursday in California, Variety reports.
His friend, screenwriter DV DeVincentis, paid tribute to actor Treme, who was the son of Officer and Gentleman director Taylor Hackford and the stepson of British actress Helen Mirren.
“Not just obsessed with movies and how they reflect and coerce, he was more than that: a super fan of countless scenes, specific gestures of unsung actors, weird career twists, jealous returns, swan songs in the movies,” DeVincentis wrote on Instagram.

In The Mandalorian, Rio was the performer on the set of the droid IG-11, which was voiced by Free Guy actor Taiki Whitty.
He recently played a manager at Pam & Tommy, describing the release of the infamous sex tape between the married couple Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in the 1990s.
Hackford also starred in the films Jonah Hex, Strange Days and Julia Roberts in the novel Beautiful Women.
He played a character named Toby in several episodes of the HBO New Orleans set Treme.
The very talented actor also directs music videos for artists such as Josh Homme’s Desert Sessions and Corrosion of Conformity.

According to Variety, Huckford was known for the artists at his three clubs in New Orleans.
In addition to New Orleans, he owned a bar in San Francisco and one in Los Angeles.
“He was a great magnet for creative people, with a path like Zelig that could turn a page into a biography. He loved the alchemy of personalities and talents and was one of the great facilitators in this regard, “added DeVincentis.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
