Police are trying to break a huge rave in East Lulworth.
Employees were called to the event at 12.36 on Easter.
About 1,000 people reportedly attended the event.
A large number of vehicles have also been reported to have traveled through the area.
A Dorset police spokesman said: “We have received a number of calls from concerned and upset residents whose sleep has been disrupted by noise levels coming from the event.
“I want to assure them that we are fully aware of this unauthorized gathering of people and we are monitoring the situation and taking steps to deal with it.
“Employees are on site and making inquiries and this includes contact with the landowner. There are closed roads to prevent direct access to the area.
“We would like to send a direct message to those at the event – you have violated the border, please leave and return home immediately.”
