Essex police appeal after death of a man in need of medical care in a M11 rigid shoulder van | United Kingdom news

Police called for information after a man in need of emergency medical care was found in a van on the side of the highway and later died.

Essex police were called to report an unattended dark van on M11’s hard shoulder between the Redbridge and Lawton roundabouts shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday.

Officers found a man in the car who needed hospital treatment.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, but has now died, police said.

Police say they treat his death as “inexplicable”.

The forces filed an appeal on Sunday, saying they were looking for witnesses and camera footage of “any suspicious behavior”.

“We now urge anyone who notices suspicious behavior on the M11 between the Redbridge and Lawton roundabouts between 7:30 pm and 8:10 pm on Monday, April 11, or who has caught suspicious behavior on the dash camera, to come out,” police said. Essex in a statement.
