Bristol: Two “big, aggressive dogs” captured and arrested after men “attacked” and injured | United Kingdom news

Two “big aggressive dogs” believed to have attacked and wounded two men near Bristol have been captured by police.

A man was arrested in connection with the incident after the animals were found at an address in the city on Sunday night, according to a statement from the police of Avon and Somerset.

Police have been searching for the dogs after patrol officers were dropped off by two men on Bishport Avenue, Hartcliff, around 10:50 a.m. Sunday morning, who say they were injured by two dogs.

The two went to a hospital to treat their injuries, while police, including armed officers, conducted investigations in the area to try to find the dogs.

No other injuries were reported.

The forces described the two dogs as “big, aggressive walking dogs” and said they should not approach if spotted.

One reportedly wounded is described as light brown in spots, while the other is dark brown in color.

The public was told to keep unaccompanied children away from the Hartcliff area while the search continued.
