Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes suffered a car crash on Monday morning, reports said.
The 27-year-old was involved in a clash on the eve of United’s Premier League clash with rivals Liverpool, according to the PA news agency.
The parties involved are not believed to have been seriously injured and the Portuguese international is expected to train with the rest of Ralph Rangnik’s team on Monday.
Midfielder Fernandes has nine goals and six assists in his 30 league games for the Reds this season.
He last appeared in United’s tough 3-2 victory over a relegation threatened by Norwich City on Saturday.
