Megan, 40, and Harry, 37, were spotted mingling with athletes and fans when the second day of the sporting event came to an end at the Zuiderpark in The Hague.

Dressed in a Valentino dress for 3,600 British pounds, Megan smiled as she posed for photos with Siraj Munir, a former Iraqi soldier who competes in the events.

Meanwhile, Harry spent time talking to members of the Ukrainian and Iraqi delegations.

Prince Harry, dressed in a linen suit, also posed for photos with competitors, including Mr Munir, pictured, and members of the Ukrainian delegation to Sunday’s event.

Megan, who was spotted wearing jeans and a white top earlier in the day, changed into an off-white dress with floral slits on her shoulder for the early evening.

The mother of two looked very stylish, combining the dress with black heels and a small handbag, also in black.

Her black locks were tucked away from the side of her face, and the Duchess wore a pair of sunglasses to protect herself from the Dutch sun as she went down to greet the fans.

Megan wore glamorous everyday makeup, adding a hint of color with a bold red lip.

The couple jumped from one engagement to another as they toured the second day of the Games yesterday, with their Netflix film crew watching their every move.

They started the day by watching a number of sporting events, including sitting volleyball.

Then they parted for the afternoon. Harry went to film content with the BBC while Megan attended a children’s book reading organized by the British Embassy.

During the engagement on Sunday afternoon (pictured), Megan spent time meeting with fans and well-wishers.

She told British Army veteran James Stride that she wanted to attend the reading because it meant she was around children, and they reminded her of her own home in California.

“Megan was quite talkative and told me she missed her children,” said James, one of Britain’s players at the Hague Games.

“She said she wanted to be with the children because she missed her own.”

The couple’s first trip to Europe is considered to be the longest, apart from Archie, three and ten-month-old Lily.

Prince Harry, whose commitment to the Games outlived his role as high king, seemed very calm and determined to discuss matters close to his heart as the second day of the Games went on.

During their first engagement on Sunday, Prince Harry and Megan Markle watched the contestants take part in some of the events. In the photo, the couple embraces Lisa Johnston, a former military medic and amputation patient, who celebrates with her medal.

The couple spent time talking to athletes at each of Sunday’s events, including U.S. athletes.

“I do not think we should have children in the world unless we make this commitment to make it better for them. We can’t steal your future.

Harry and Megan’s VVIP Security Operation: Royal Members Protected at Invictus Games by Private Security, including Former Obama Secret Service Agent and Taxpayer-Funded Elite Armed Officers of the Dutch King

BY PAUL THOMPSON IN THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS, FOR MAILONLINE

Prince Harry and Megan Markle are protected in a joint operation involving private security guards and members of the Dutch Royal Protection Squad during the Invictus Games.

A former agent of the US presidential secret services has been appointed to lead the couple’s close guard and has been left to armed defense officers, who usually guard the King of the Netherlands to provide security outside the scene.

Since arriving at the Invictus Games, the couple has always traveled in a convoy of three cars with big Christopher Sanchez, a former Obama bodyguard in the front seat.

A second Land Rover with two other private security guards followed Harry and Megan’s car, while an unmarked Audi car containing two members of the Dutch Royal Protection Squad followed him.

Visitors to the Zuiderpark, where the Invictus Games take place, saw the convoy of three cars enter the scene, with Sanchez being one of the first to jump out of the car and stand cautiously next to Megan.

He was also with her while reading a book to a group of children and sat in a golf buggy, which went with Megan and two of her assistants.

Security guards from First Line Security, based in the Netherlands, provide additional reserve in the crowd.

They were spotted standing among the fans, hoping to catch a glimpse of Megan while reading the book, and stood nearby as she posed for a selfie.

All the guards wore earphones to keep in touch with each other, but they did not carry firearms.

During Megan and Harry’s visit, officers from the Royal Dutch Defense Forces were left in their cars.

An officer confirmed to MailOnline that he was part of the team that is usually assigned to protect the King of the Netherlands.

He was armed and a small box of pepper spray could be seen on a strap.

After receiving VVIP status, Harry would not have to pay for the protection of the Dutch royal police.

But he will take care of the ever-present private security companies, with an expert in the field saying the price will be six figures.

Megan is believed to be returning to America today and probably traveling with a bodyguard. Harry has no public appearances at the planned events, but must return on Tuesday to meet with contestants at two events.

The Duke is at the heart of an exclusive legal dispute over his security when he comes to Britain.

He challenged the Home Office after he was told he would no longer receive “the same degree” of personal protection when visiting the United States, although he claimed he had offered to pay for it himself.

For the visit to the Netherlands, Harry and his wife received the VVIP (status of a very, very important man, which allowed the Dutch royal defenders to be appointed to them.

A source said that the police are responsible for security outside the Zuiderpark, where all events for the wounded and disabled are held.

Inside the park, a private security guard led by former Secret Service agent Sanchez guards the couple.

A former Texas intelligence agent and police officer, Sanchez was chosen to act as a bodyguard because of his experience at major sporting events.

He is vice president of Torchstone Global, a private security firm for millionaires and companies.

Prior to joining the company, Sanchez was responsible for supporting the security of many major sporting events in the United States, including NFL games and golf tournaments.

His attempt to defend former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush would be a big attraction for Harry and Megan.

Sanchez was based primarily in Texas with the Secret Service, where he was assigned to defend George W. Bush, who had a home in the city of Midland.
