Wimbledon organizers must announce a total ban on all players from Russia and Belarus in this year’s championship.
The move will mean that world number two Daniil Medvedev and former world number one Victoria Azarenka will not compete in the All England Club this summer due to the invasion of Ukraine.
The tournament will be the first to stop players from the countries. They are currently allowed to play in the ATP and WTA tours as neutrals and are allowed to put their names on the list for next month’s French Open.
