The mother of the slain queen, Orsolia Gaal, appears to have warned investigators of her accused killer by posting a note on her refrigerator that read “GET A NEW DISTRICT” before being brutally stabbed to death, law enforcement sources said.
The handwritten note was found by detectives last weekend at Gaal’s home in Forest Hills, as they began their investigation into the shocking murder of Gaal, whose body was found Saturday morning in a hockey bag found outside Forest Park, sources said.
The note, first reported by The Daily Beast, is an obvious reference to David Bonola, 44, a master of heating and air conditioning for the Gaal family, who was arrested on Thursday and charged with her murder.
Bonola allegedly confessed to the cops and then gave a second to a video of prosecutors, police sources told The Post on Thursday.
The accused killer told the cops that he had a periodic relationship with the married mother of two children and said that they met again earlier this month before they separated again.

Bonola reportedly showed up at Gaal’s home early Saturday morning to talk about their relationship – but when the conversation got worse, he erupted in rage and allegedly stabbed her nearly 60 times with a kitchen knife, cops said.
Bonola is accused of murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal forgery.
