Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has allegedly accused Rebecca Vardy of taking intrusive photos of her at the National Television Awards.
The revelation is the latest in a series of announcements made public as part of an ongoing lawsuit due in May. Colleen Rooney, the wife of former professional footballer Wayne Rooney, claims that Ms. Vardi leaked information about her in The S * n.
In a ruling Thursday, Judge Stein handed a partial victory to Ms. Vardi’s legal team, ordering the removal of some elements of Ms. Rooney’s evidence. The verdict revealed how some of Ms. Rooney’s defense statements referred to an incident at the National Television Awards attended by Ms. Vardi and Sarah Harding in January 2018.

Sarah Harding died last year at the age of 39 after a battle with breast cancer.
The defense statement said: “She (Vardy) also quarreled with former Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding (” Sarah “) during the 2018 event because Sarah apparently caught Becky taking pictures of the contents of the handbag. to Sarah when Sarah dropped her on the floor. Their dispute subsequently appeared in The S * n. “
A second statement from the defense also discussed the incident. It read: “At the award ceremony, the plaintiff was accused by Sarah Harding of taking intrusive photos of her without her consent, as reported in The S * n on January 27, 2018.
Ms Justice Steyn chose to delete the above statements from Ms Rooney’s defense. The verdict also cites WhatsApp reports suggesting that Ms. Vardy and her agent Caroline Watt regularly discuss with reporters at The S * n.
At one point, Ms. Vardi said she was worried that Ms. Rooney was blocking her on Instagram after stories surfaced in the media. In response, the agent said, “I wouldn’t tell anyone but The S * n, and Mrs. Rooney can’t prove anything to hell, and if she wants to think that, fuck her.”
Ms Watt said she was in contact with S * n journalist Andy Halls about the incident: “I sent him a message and he said absolutely no and will never say what the source is.”

The judge rejected a request from Ms. Rooney’s lawyers to search the phones of a number of S * n journalists for potential communication with Ms. Vardi and her agent.
The trial is scheduled for May 9 and will last for seven days.
