An expert from the royal family told a British television show that Prince Charles did not really want to meet in private with his estranged son Prince Harry last week, according to the New York Post.

The meeting took place when Harry and Megan were at Windsor Castle to see the Queen on her way to The Hague for the Invictus Games.
“Charles was not particularly pleased with this, as far as I knew,” Robert Jobson told GB News on Thursday. “They agreed to hold the meeting only if nothing was said about him on American television.”
Jobson said that to add insult to the injury, Harry, who is in the kennel after leaving his royal duties two years ago, showed up late.
“The Prince of Wales has reached the end of his attachment, they have not been in contact and I think that if he had started chatting about this meeting, I think it would have been the end for him and Harry,” said Jobson, author of several royal books.
Days after meeting her father, Harry told Today’s Hoda Kotb that he wanted to make sure his grandmother was “protected” and had “the right people around her.”

Harry also said that his relationship with the Queen, who turned 96 on Thursday, involved talking about things “she can’t talk to anyone else about.”
These comments and Harry’s avoidance of questions about the missing Charles and Prince Williams raised eyebrows.
“He looked rather embarrassed when questions arose about his father and brother,” Jobson said.
“I think Prince Charles, in this one, probably thought that if my name is included in this, if these conversations are in a public place where there are no assistants present, no courtiers present, then I can’t stand it – he drinks in the Salon Last Chance. ”
