The New Hampshire couple was found shot in a wooded area

Jesvende Reid, 66, and Stephen Reed, 67, have been shot several times, according to Deputy Chief Medical Officer Mitchell Weinberg.

They had left their apartment to walk around 2:22 pm on Monday, and family and friends did not see or hear from them afterwards, authorities said.

Concord police are asking people to report suspicious behavior and share any videos from surveillance of the area.

Residents are also encouraged to be “vigilant and take normal precautions as they go about their daily lives,” the state prosecutor’s office said in a statement. “It’s a very quiet neighborhood and they’re talking about murder,” resident Doug Ponuski told the WFXT affiliate.

“It just looks random. That’s the scariest part,” Ron Biawaski told the station. “You have a nut to crack, you know.”
