A man was arrested after 10 people were injured in a “nasty incident” in which three victims were hospitalized with stab wounds.
Witnesses described bloody scenes in downtown Bedworth, north of Coventry, around 8 a.m. Saturday.
Warwickshire police say they believe the man was walking on Coventry Road and then on Gilbert Close, where he attacked a number of members of the public.
One victim, a 20-year-old man, is in stable condition in hospital, and another man and a woman with injuries have been discharged.
A 33-year-old man from Bedworth was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody. He is about to have his mental health assessed, the forces added.
Detective Sergeant Rich Simpkins called on witnesses and the wounded to leave if they had not already done so.
