Ukraine is shelling a checkpoint in Russia, the governor of the Russian region said

April 23 (Reuters) – The governor of Russia’s border region said on Saturday that Ukraine had fired on a checkpoint on Russian territory, causing a fire but no casualties.

The office of the Russian Agricultural Monitoring Service Rosselkhoznadzor caught fire after the shelling, Kursk Oblast Governor Roman Starovoit said in his Telegram profile.

It was not possible to immediately confirm the details of the incident or determine who was responsible.
