Police are looking for the man who launched a random attack on a mother who was walking with her children in Bangor on Friday afternoon.
The 36-year-old woman was pushing one of her children in a buggy in the city’s Ward Park yesterday around noon, accompanied by her friends and their children, when an unknown man approached her and punched her in the back of the head.
As she fell to the ground, the anonymous man continued to hit her and then fled.
The victim suffered head, back and shoulder injuries.
The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall, wearing a face mask, a black baseball cap, gray underwear and a black T-shirt.
Anyone who has been in the area and can assist the police in identifying the perpetrator has been asked to contact the police on 101, citing reference number 669 22/04/22.
