United suffered their second away loss of the week after falling 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium. Goals by Nuno Tavares and Granit Jaca on both sides of Bucaio Saka’s penalty in the first half caused damage as Cristiano Ronaldo entered the visitors’ record.
The result leaves six points less than United in fourth place with just four games left, while Arsenal and Tottenham still have a game in hand. Now United are in battle just to secure a place in Europe, with West Ham and the Wolves still at a distance.
