Fury kept his WBC heavyweight belt with a stunning uppercut that saw White fall on the sail and force the referee to stop the fight.
As most experts and fans thought Fury had enjoyed much of his success in hitting the rounds so far, it was a shock to many when the scorecards were revealed during the stoppage.

“What did the friend (Pelayo) smoke in the middle?” One of them asked.
While another wrote: “Pelayo needs his license revoked.”
One of Fury’s ardent followers suggested that it should have been 5-0 for Fury after the first five rounds, admitting that you could “agree to disagree” with a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, another said it was “shocking” that one of them had won White in one of Wembley’s opening rounds.
“It’s shocking how White got one of them. Where does Pelayo have two rounds for White?
“Only Tapper was right.” White didn’t even win a round, another suggested.
White himself said he did not think there was “much in the battle” and that “one slip” cost him dearly.
“I don’t think there was much in the battle, it was a close fight,” he said. It was a slip and then I was shot.
“It simply came to our notice then. I didn’t feel like I was out of class or he was at that level and I was at that level, “he added.
