Three women and a man were found stabbed to death at their home in Bermondsy, south-east London.
Police were called to report a riot at a residential address on Delaford Road around 1:40 a.m. Monday.
Officers were present and entered by force. Four people were found inside with stab wounds.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the victims were found dead on the spot.

Employees are in the process of contacting their close relatives. Post-mortem examinations will be organized in a timely manner.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a police station in South London, where he remains in custody.
Detectives from the Metropolitan’s Specialized Anti-Crime Command are investigating.
It is assumed that all five were acquainted with each other.
Investigations are under way to establish the circumstances, a police spokesman said.
