Riot Games presented Fade, the last agent to join Valorant as part of Episode 4, Act 3.
Fade is a Turkish bounty hunter whose style of play will be entirely related to intelligence. This gives players more choice about who to play with, as Owl is currently the only other intelligence agent. Fade will be released on Wednesday (April 27th) along with an update to Episode 4, Act 3.
Her abilities allow her to detect the location of enemies and either blind them or keep them in place once she finds them. According to Riot’s description: “Fade releases the power of harsh nightmares to capture enemy secrets. Horrified by the horror itself, she pursues goals and reveals their deepest fears – before crushing them in the dark.
One of her main skills allows you to cast a shadow ball to reveal the location of nearby enemy players, while another creates a small circle on the ground that will trap players if they get too close.
Fade also has an ability called Prowler that sends creatures to search for enemy players, making them temporarily short-sighted.
The Valorant update also includes a new battle passage that will cost 1000VP (£ 9.00) and includes new skins, player skins and sprays.
There’s also a new leather line called the RGX 11z Pro, which is inspired by gaming hardware and includes RGB LED lights, rotating tactile mechanical components and reinforced plastic.
Riot also recently announced that the next patch of the game will significantly upset Agent Jett.
In patch 4.08, Jett’s Tailwind ability will have a short delay when the player activates it. Jet will then have a 12-second window through which he can immediately jump, although this will consume a charge that takes two kills to reactivate.
In other news, GOG now offers its employees menstrual leave.
