Johnny Depp returned on Monday in a $ 100 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
The court heard a number of audio recordings of Depp and Hurd arguing during a cross-examination by Hurd’s lawyer Benjamin Rothenborn. It was not clear who took each of them, but it was one of the parties.
In an audio clip, Depp tells Hurd, “Leaving is necessary, necessary, especially between you and me. This is extremely important.
“The next move, if I don’t leave, will just be a bloodbath. As it was on the island, it’s not worth it. Why be unhappy, can we just understand each other?
Hurd says that when choosing between a bloodbath and leaving, “obviously” she will choose the latter.
Depp says, “Then why has she been elected (bloodbath) so many times?”

Hurd’s lawyer, Benjamin Rothenborn, told the court that this was not the first time the description of a “bloodbath” had appeared during the trial.

In another video, Hurd says, “I’m crying in my bedroom after I dumped you a week earlier after he killed me.” A week later you show up and say goodbye.

During another recording, Hurd and Depp can be heard arguing when Depp shouts, ‘You’re shit!’

Rothenborn said, “Did you hear Miss Hurd say come down from me? referring to the video, which was weak.
Depp said, “I heard a distant scream and I’ll talk to you later.”
The court heard a text sent by Depp to his agent Christian Carino on August 15, 2016.
Depp told Hurd: “She’s going to hit the wall hard !!!!”

Depp sues Hurd for $ 50 million over a piece she wrote in the Washington Post describing how she was a victim of domestic violence
The trial is taking place in Fairfax, Virginia, because the Washington Post – the newspaper where Hurd wrote her article – is located there.
The texts read in court were read by Rothenborn, Hurd’s lawyer, to Depp while he was in the witness box.
The court heard a message that Depp sent to his bodyguard Malcolm Connelly in February 2016, at a time when he allegedly broke the kitchen of his home in Los Angeles.
Depp says that “I feel like I’m going to vomit all the time” and says he wants to “get out of her (Hurd’s) level of shit.”
Depp says: “I will never mention the name of this s ** t again. The first scumbag to mention her name will receive a warning.
Depp wrote that the next person to mention Hurd’s name would receive “his nose bitten, chewed and swallowed by Johnny Depp.”
Depp said the individual would have to “make him watch me get dirty” nose.
Rothenborn asked, “Wasn’t Miss Hurd the only one who didn’t approve of your drinking?”
Depp said: “If anyone has had a problem with my drinking, it’s me. The only person I have abused is myself
The court heard a text from Depp to Kevin Murphy, his assistant, on January 21, 2014, concerning Vanessa Paradis, his ex-wife and mother of their two children, including daughter Lily-Rose.
Depp said: “I’m just trying to overcome my shocking discussion with Vanessa, which lasted five hours or more. Now Lily-Rose hates me because she thinks I’m drinking and she’s right, but I can’t admit it, or I’ll die in her eyes.
Rothenborn turned to Depp’s views on Hurd’s career as an actress.
On October 29, 2013, Hurd texted Depp that he was on a coffee date, which seemed to disappoint him.
Depp responded by asking what the “look” was. He told her, “No damn movies, no movies. Why deviate from our agreement?
Rothenborn asked, “Didn’t she want to take the meeting?”
Depp said: “He seemed to think there was an agreement to do something together. I ask what kind of meetings.
“This is not necessarily an angry text, which is why you have deviated from our agreement. It’s not about her making movies. How do you think she caught Aquaman?
Rothenborn asked, “Do you want to control her career?”
Depp said, “That’s obviously not true.”

Depp was shown a series of obscene articles about him, while Hurd’s lawyers tried to show that there were many negative stories about him before her 2018 publication, which he did not judge.
Depp dismissed the reports as “a bunch of hit songs generated by Miss Hurd’s advertising team.”
Rothenborn read 12 titles, including one describing how he was drunk at an awards ceremony and was cut off by organizers.

Rottenborn read the title of another story that reads, “Where did everything go wrong for Johnny Depp?”
The article notes that “after a series of failures,” Depp’s career seems “hesitant like Jack Sparrow on a board.” Rothenborn asked Depp if he had read this correctly. He replied sarcastically, “You read it very well.”
A number of the headlines were from the Hollywood Reporter, and Depp said vehemently that they were “very kind to me.”
Another title read to Depp from Rothenborn reads: “Why Johnny Depp’s films are bombing the box office.”
On the headline that Depp appears drunk at the premiere of a film, Depp protests: “It’s a rumor, isn’t it?”
Rothenborn read a headline published six months before Hurd’s publication, which described how his life was “a fog of alcohol and hash, a way of life he could not afford.”
Rothenborn asked if he had read it correctly. Depp replied, “You have to read the article,” which caused laughter in court.
Rottenborn read the headline of the Daily Mail from journalist Alison Boschoff in June 2018, which read: “Vodka for breakfast, 72-hour drugs and walks that are the faith of beggars: ALLISON BOSHOFF reveals why Hollywood is excited about what is called a suicidal note about Johnny Depp’s career. “
