Shoreham airshow crash: All 11 victims wrongfully killed, says coroner | News

Eleven people were unlawfully killed at the 2015 Shoreham Air Show because a pilot made a series of “gross errors”, a coroner has concluded.

Andrew Hill, who was driving the 1950s Hawker Hunter which crashed on the A27 in West Sussex, was not in court yesterday to hear the coroner say the risk to life involved in his stunt with noose, is “clear and obvious” .

The 57-year-old former Royal Air Force instructor was acquitted of manslaughter two years ago after jurors at the Old Bailey were told he had a temporary cognitive impairment.
