Confirmed cases of diphtheria in the hotel where asylum seekers are staying

In a statement, UKHSA said: “Although we continue to see a very small number of diphtheria cases among asylum seekers in the region, the risk of diphtheria to the general public remains very low as there is high uptake of the diphtheria vaccine in this region of the country.”
