Helen Skelton: Countryfile presenter says husband Richie Myler “left the family” after having a third child

Helen Skelton has revealed that she has broken up with her husband, rugby player Richie Myler.

The host of Countryfile announced the news in a statement on Instagram, writing that Myler had “left the family home.”

Skelton’s announcement comes just four months after they welcomed their third child.

“It is very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple,” she wrote. “He left the family home. We will do our best to raise our young children. “

Skelton, who married Myler in 2013, accompanied the publication with two emojis with a broken heart.

They have three children together: Ernie at six, Lewis at five and Elsie Kate, who is four months old.

Skelton made the announcement shortly after sharing a post about motherhood on Saturday (April 23rd).

The publication reads: “A mother is always full of emotions, full of love, full of worries and anxieties, full of exhaustion and lack of energy, full of maternal guilt and doubts, full of pride for her children, full of pure joy.

“She feels everything, it’s her beauty, she wears it too, but she still happens every day and does it again.”

Skelton became famous after presenting Blue Peter from 2008 to 2013.

Myler, the English national rugby league, currently plays for the Yorkshire club Leeds Rhinos.
