This would not be a Platinum Jubilee Competition without an element of surprise. When the Queen’s throne celebrations culminate in June, Ed Sheeran will pay tribute to the monarch, accompanied by more than a hundred “national treasures”, in front of Buckingham Palace.
What exactly this homage will be and what these national treasures will do is still a closely guarded secret.
David Zolcourt, the show’s director, declined to give further details, saying the organizers wanted to “keep some surprises for the day”.
