An 18-month-old boy was rushed to hospital after falling from an upstairs window this afternoon. Police are investigating the horrific incident that took place at noon.
West Midlands police said officers were called to Wattville Road, Handsworth, around 1 p.m. today, Friday, April 29. The forces confirmed that a small child had fallen from a height.
The kid gets rid of bruises and is checked for other injuries. The baby was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital by ambulance.

Police have cut off part of the road while the investigation continues. A spokeswoman for the forces told BirminghamLive: “An 18-month-old boy has been taken to hospital after falling from a window on the first floor of a property on Wattville Road, Birmingham, at around 1pm today, 29 April.
“The child was left bruised and is now being investigated for any other injuries. We cut off the property while investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.”
A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service added: “We were called in with reports of a patient falling from a height on Wattville Road at 1:04 p.m. An ambulance, a paramedic and a critical care car in the Midlands were present at the incident.
“Upon arrival, we found a male child who was being treated for injuries that were not considered serious before being taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further evaluation.
