A man’s body was found near a Scottish main road.
Mercy teams, including Scottish Police and the Scottish ambulance and rescue service, raced to the A81 in Strathblane around 4pm this afternoon.
Initially, the concern was raised about human concern.
Officers arrived, but a 64-year-old man was unfortunately pronounced dead on the spot.
Officials say they are currently treating the death as inexplicable, but do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
A report will be sent to the fiscal prosecutor’s office.
A Scottish police spokesman told the Sun: “We have reported a concern to an A81 man in Stratblain at around 3.50pm on Friday, April 29.
“Emergency services have arrived and a 64-year-old man has been pronounced dead on the spot.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and there are no suspicions that there are any suspicious circumstances.
“A report will be sent to the fiscal prosecutor’s office in a timely manner.”
