A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in the head in Philadelphia on Saturday, police said.
Elijah Simmons, 19, and Caresa McFarland, 32, were arrested in connection with the shooting, which cops believe was an accident.
The unidentified teenager was transported to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition, cops said.
Simmons and McFarland were charged with aggravated assault and reckless danger, KYW-TV reported.
The shooting may be related to the theft of a car, which reportedly happened at the same time, but police have not confirmed, according to Fox News
In an unrelated shooting Sunday night, two Philadelphia civilian police witnessed a fatal shooting while driving a man, killing three men in a jeep by firing from their car, shooting several times at a 31-year-old man, Fox reported.
Police fired on the jeep, but it is unclear whether any of the shooters were hit, police said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition before succumbing to his injuries.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made, cops said.
