An ongoing investigation by the RCMP in British Columbia, federal investigators and the FBI in Los Angeles have amassed a huge amount of drugs, cash, gold and silver.

Between September and December 2021, a series of search warrants in Vancouver and Victoria led to the arrest of six people and the seizure of a day bar with drugs.

Seizures include:

  • 2.5 kilograms of cocaine and approximately 26 kilograms of cutting agent known as “buff”, such as benzocaine and procaine
  • 1.5 kg MDMA / MDA (ecstasy)
  • 0.5 kg of ketamine
  • 0.5 kg of methamphetamine
  • 6770 doses of LSD
  • 5000 fake Xanax tablets
  • 60 liters of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB)
  • Two pounds of dried cannabis and 534 packs of cannabis for consumption
  • 2.5 pounds psilocybin (magic mushroom)
  • 115 bottles of anabolic steroids in 35 different chemical forms
  • 0.5 kg of various drugs such as opium and heroin, cut with fentanyl; N, N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT); 5-Methoxy-N, N-diisopropyltriptamine (5-MeO-DiPT, also known as Foxy methoxy); and benzylpiperazine (BZP).

Cannabis foods include chewing gum, muesli, chocolates, pills, THC water enhancers, THC patches, THC hot chocolate, along with concentrated cannabis extracts and vaping products.

In addition to the wide variety of drugs, investigators seized $ 367,346 in cash, 15 ounces of gold valued at $ 35,988, and 205 ounces of silver worth $ 5,977.

No charges have been filed yet, but the investigation is ongoing, says Capt. Arash Seyed with the Federal Department for Serious and Organized Crime of the RCMP.
