Relatively little is known about the effects of long-term COVID, also known as the condition after COVID-19, including how to diagnose it.

The Public Health Agency says more than 100 symptoms have been reported.

Although data is scarce, Tam says he expects the long COVID to have a significant impact on Canadians.
