Actor Mike Hagarty has died at the age of 67.
The star’s family, who appeared on HBO’s Friends and Somebody, Somewhere, paid tribute by saying he would “miss a lot.”
Mike’s colleague Bridget Everett announced the sad news on social media, writing: “It is with great sadness that Michael G. Hagarty’s family announced his death yesterday in Los Angeles.
“His favorite heroic actor, his love for his hometown of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life.
“Mike, a devoted husband, survived by his wife Mary Catherine, his sister Mary Ann Hagerty [and] her wife Kathleen O’Rourke and their daughter Meg.
“He will be greatly missed.”

Mike was best known for his recurring role as construction supervisor, Mr. Trieger, from 1995 to 2001.
One of his iconic scenes saw him dance with Joey while practicing some movements in an attempt to impress Marge’s love interest.
Upset fans flocked to Twitter to share their sadness at the news, with one of them writing, “RIM Mike Hagerty. Fun, sweet and complete professional. Thanks for the decades of laughter.
While another commented: “I am extremely sad to hear that Mike Hagarty has died. I wanted so badly to play casual roles for AV Club with him, but even though he was a Chicago man, the pitch was fine. (1/2)
