Gas prices crossed the $ 2-liter barrier in Vernon on Tuesday.

And while some stations are posting 203.9 cents a liter today, North Okanagan is still home to the province’s cheapest fuel.

Gas is still selling for 184.9 in Enderby and Salmon Arm – the “cheapest” anywhere in British Columbia, according to the latest publications on gasbuddy.com.

While several stations in Vernon pumped liquid gold for 187.9, Petro-Can, Chevron and Mobil set their prices at 203.9.

Stations in Kelowna are at 193.9 and 195.9 cents per liter at noon on Wednesday.

Penticton stations are 199.9 at all.

Kamloops services are the most widespread in their prices, ranging from 188.9 cents per liter to the highest 204.9.

Metro Vancouver drivers charge from 214.9 to 219.9 cents per liter.

Gasoline prices have risen after oil exceeded $ 100 a barrel, in part due to supply disruptions related to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, industry observers say.
