Egyptian international Mohamed Salah has been forced to leave Liverpool’s FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday night, with a complaint in Wembley’s groin.

Mohamed Salah has confirmed that he will be ready for the final of the Champions League of Liverpool against Real Madrid in Paris on May 28.
Reds fans feared the worst after the Egyptian was forced to leave their FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday night. The 29-year-old received a complaint in the groin about 30 minutes after the match, although he managed to leave the field in a substitution.
Liverpool won the draw after penalties after both teams failed to score within 120 minutes. Mason Mount’s pass allowed Costas Tsimikas to score the winning point and make it 6-5 on penalties. He fulfilled, keeping Liverpool’s quadruple dream alive.

The Reds, who won the EFL Cup in February, could complete the next leg of their historic bid by beating Manchester City for the Premier League title. They are currently three points behind Pep Guardiola’s side, with just two games left.
The Champions League is the last piece of the puzzle and although Liverpool’s quadruple offer may be over by now, they will still want to win the biggest prize in European club football. The Reds have previously lifted six European Cups.
Salah will be especially determined to win the Champions League after suffering an injury in the final four years ago against Real. He was eliminated in the first half of the match in Kyiv after the Spanish giants won 3-1 and secured their 13th European title.

And it looks like he will get the chance to play to get revenge on Real in two weeks. “Of course, of course,” Salah said Saturday night when asked if he would be ready for the Champions League final, quoted by Liverpool ECHO. “Everything is fine!”
Manager Jurgen Klopp also seems confident that Salah will reach the final. “Mo came and he said he could go on, but I felt a little bit,” the German told ITV when asked about the Egyptian’s injury. “I hope he gets better.”
Salah is determined to face Real after Liverpool beat Villarreal to reach the final. At this point, Real’s place in the event was not confirmed. The Spanish giants beat Manchester City in their semifinals 24 hours later.

“I want to play with Madrid, I have to be honest,” Salah said after Liverpool’s victory. “City are a really tough team, we played against them several times this season. I personally think I would prefer Madrid. We lost in the final to them, so I want to play against them and hope to win it.”
Salah teammate Virgil van Dyke was also forced to leave the FA Cup final, coming out at the end of normal. The Dutchman also does not seem to be particularly uncomfortable and Klopp confirmed that he “had small problems”, but believes that he will do well to face Real.
Van Dyke added: “I hope we will check it out. I felt in the first half when I sprinted, I felt remorse behind my knee, I played forward. In the end, I can’t risk the team and I have to trust Joel. I hope everything is fine. “
